Course Description
Covers chainsaw components, safety features, and basic two-stroke operation. Builds skills to inspect, assess, and perform routine maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Identify chainsaw components, safety features, fuels, and lubricants.
2. Explain the basic operating principles of a two-stroke engine.
3. Inspect and evaluate chainsaw components requiring routine maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
