Course Description

Introduces the core principles of AI ethics, including fairness, transparency, accountability, and bias. Explores real-world scenarios where ethical decision-making impacts organizations, customers, and society at large. Applies responsible practices through discussion and case studies to critically evaluate AI systems.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of the course students should be able to:

Apply responsible decision-making frameworks to workplace scenarios
Describe strategies for balancing innovation with ethical responsibility in professional contexts
Identify and articulate issues of bias, privacy, and accountability in AI use
Describe ethical challenges posed by AI technologies
