Course Description

Learn the foundational terms and concepts, including ethics, science, attachment theories, and trauma, for the Interpersonal Neurobiology field.

Intended Outcomes for the course

  1. Articulate and apply the core tenets and constructs of Interpersonal Neurobiology;
  2. Identify, analyze and discuss ethical issues using an IPNB framework;
  3. Describe the mechanisms and connections among cortical and subcortical structures as they relate to stress, perception, memory, attention, empathy, regulation, and integration.
  4. Develop personal, professional, and spiritual practices that enhance awareness, and promote health, and well-being.
