Course Description
This module explores the purposes, proper utilization, limitations of diagnostic equipment in advanced medic practice. You will gain knowledge needed to interpret normal and abnormal findings.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Participants who successfully complete this course will be able to:
1. describe the appropriate utilization of capnography, oximetry, arterial blood gases, hemodynamic monitoring, 12-lead ECG, chest radiographs, ultrasound, basic lab analysis, and otoscopic and opthalmoscopic exams
2. identify normal and abnormal findings.
