Course Description
A doula is a trained community health worker, specializing in labor, birth and newborn care. The ICTC Doula training is designed to help reduce infant mortality and build capacity for better birth outcomes in all communities and create new careers.
Intended Outcomes for the course
To improve birth outcomes, learn physiological birth, public health, culture awareness
To provide quality ICTC Full Circe Doula Services, work with diverse populations, improve
breastfeeding rates.
