Course Description

Lean means eliminating, waste, overproduction, waiting, transportation, over and incorrect processing, excess inventory, unnecessary movement, defects, and unused employee creativity. This course will look at the time line from order placement to payment collection.

Intended Outcomes for the course

As a result of this course, participants will be able to:
Reduce the timeline with the elimination of non-value added wastes.
Learn to understand and look at Value Stream Maps
Identify conditions and define elements of Current state Maps.
Create and maintain a Continuous Improvement Spiral. Not just one pass to seek and destroy waste but create a connected value stream for all to think, solve problems and eliminate waste.
