Course Description
Designed to refresh the students’ knowledge of commands, inputs and outputs which are used to program Allen Bradley equipment controls. Ladder logic, command line structure, Allen Bradley SLC500 and AB Micrologix 1000 Programmable Controllers will be discussed in conjunction with use of RS Logix 500 software.
Intended Outcomes for the course
The student will have a general knowledge/application of commands, inputs and outputs which are used to program Allen Bradley equipment controls. Ladder logic, command line structure, Allen Bradley SLC500 and AB Micrologix 1000 Programmable Controllers will be discussed in conjunction with use of RS Logix 500 software and will be able to use it in their work environment.
