Course Description

Avoid embarrassing usage and grammatical errors. Part 2 picks up where Part 1 left off, moving on to the mechanics of writing: the most common grammatical and usage errors; email issues and how to fix them; and finally, linking parts 1 and 2 to provide two opportunities to apply what has been learned.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Outcomes: By the end of the session, attendees will be better able to:

  • Avoid embarrassing usage and grammatical errors
  • Go beyond Spell Checker: Become a valuable resource
  • Gain new confidence in the correctness of your writing
  • Write compelling emails: Get Read, Get Results, Avoid disaster!
  • Recognize common on-your-job email problems
