Course Description
Focuses on the study of specific herbal properties, Western Herbal Energetics, Preparations, Skin and Topical therapies, Plant Chemistry, Chinese and Ayurvedic herbalism, Reproductive, Musculoskeletal, Immune and Endocrine systems, Herbalism for Young and Elderly, Integrative Healing: Diet, Cleansing, Herbal Hydrotherapy.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Describe and use at least 10 specified selected herbal preparations in a professional setting, from term content
Describe herbal supports for at least 10 different pathologies for each of the reproductive, musculoskeletal, immune, skin and endocrine systems
State relevant clinical details and design an herbal protocol role for at least 20 pathologies from each category of Western, Ayurvedic and Chinese herbs defined for the term
Describe the basic structure of Western herbal philosophy
