Course Description
This module focuses on recognizing adult patients with cardiovascular pathologies. Based on a review of cardiac A&P and basic ECGs, it reviews recognizing hemodynamic instability, an intro to shock, and basic medications and relevant interventions.
Intended Outcomes for the course
At the end of this Module, participants will be able to discuss: 1) the components of a baseline exam on a patient with a cardiac condition, and 2) the basic medications and relevant interventions.
