Course Description

Introduces the creation of animated and interactive web content using industry-standard software that can be viewed on any web supported device. Includes producing animated and interactive web projects using text, shapes, and imagery. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Use industry-standard software to create multifaceted animated or interactive images, web banners, and infographics
  2. Import and manage project assets
  3. Use critical thinking skills to create original animated or interactive web content

Using Adobe Edge Animate to:

  1. Produce compositions using design tools and properties 
  2. Import and modify assets
  3. Integrate web fonts
  4. Manage the stage, timeline and library
  5. Create and manage symbols
  6. Produce animations using triggers and actions
  7. Integrate animate composition on web page
  8. Edit HTML and CSS
  9. Introduce basic JavaScript and JQuery
  10. Create responsive designs
  11. Produce professional animated/interactive web pages for portfolio
