Course Description

Discusses fundamental concepts, principles and rules of law that apply to business organizations. Includes agency, property law, sales transactions, partnerships, corporations and government regulations. Recommended: BA 226. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion of Business Law II, the student will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of state and federal law as it relates to business organizations
  2. Demonstrate basic understanding of legal aspects of business operations
  3. Communicate effectively using standard business law terminology.

Students will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of the concepts described in the required competencies by any combination of the following:
