Course Description
Provides advanced training in multicultural counseling for addiction professionals. Explores a deeper understanding of treatment considerations regarding the intersection of culture, identity, mental health and addiction. Focuses on cultivating cultural humility and providing effective counseling services to diverse populations. Prerequisites: AD 120E, AD 121E, AD 122E, AD 124E, AD 140E, AD 141E. Audit available.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
