Course Description
Provides advanced knowledge and skills in group counseling for people with substance use disorder (SUD). Explores how to plan, implement, and evaluate group counseling sessions for clients with SUD, using evidence-based practices and techniques. Covers common challenges in group counseling, such as resistance, conflict, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Prerequisites: AD 120E, AD 121E, AD 122E, AD 124E, AD 140E, AD 141E. Audit available.
