A printmaker, painter, and sculptor, Tom Prochaska's work is hard to categorize. He is a plein-air painter, his eyes attuned to the ever-changing palette of the landscape, but he also makes grisaille paintings that explore interior spaces—mysterious people and complex relationships. He is renowned as a printmaker and, in 1994, cofounded Atelier Mars. Prochaska's work can be found in collections around the country. He received his MFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.
