2012-13 Financial Aid Priority Timelines
- 2012-13 requirements are posted on MyPCC for applicants who have completed the FAFSA or made corrections to their FAFSA as of April 18.
- Reminder: If your application has been selected for federal verification and you have filed your 2011 federal tax return, please use the IRS Data Retrieval tool to authorize IRS to update your FAFSA with your actual tax data. If you were unable to use the IRS Data Retrieval or obtain a copy of the IRS Tax Return Transcript, you may submit a signed copy of your (or your parents', if applicable) federal tax return (1040A/EZ or 1040) no later than July 15, 2012. Include a written explanation indicating the reason you were unable to use the IRS Data Retrieval tool or obtain a copy of the IRS Tax Return Transcript
- We will begin notifying students regarding financial aid eligibility for 2012-13 beginning June 1, 2012. If you plan to attend Summer term 2012, register early!
- Access to award information on line is available as soon as final award eligibility has been determined. Applicants will be notified via MyPCC email once the award has been approved. Please refer to the step by step Financial Aid On-Line Instructions for accepting or declining your financial aid funds
- If you are awarded Federal Direct Loan funds, you must also complete a master promissory note and entrance counseling. Click here for step by step instructions.

The Financial Aid Office staff is dedicated to providing quality service, financial aid information, and access to financial aid assistance for eligible students. Financial aid is available through grants, scholarships, loans, work-study, or a combination of these federal, state, and institutional aid programs. Funds are available to help with education costs, including tuition and fees, books and supplies, and living expenses.
