The Multicultural Center-Rock Creek fosters an environment where students of color can thrive academically, culturally and socially. Our mission is to support students of color in an environment that supports their cultural identity, personal and academic goals. We are centrally located with a full time advisor, community resources, free internet, free printing use, lounge area and resource library. Our focus is to provide mentorship and leadership opportunities through one on one contact and on campus multicultural programming that addresses issues of race, culture and identity

Our Mission

…support and advocate for students of color by providing opportunities to explore their cultural identity through intercultural engagement, education and leadership opportunities. Through education the Multicultural Center-Rock Creek strives to create a culture of pluralism and aid the facilitation of proactive ways of addressing issues of racism and social injustices. The Multicultural Center-Rock Creek through its initiatives aims to prepare our students of color for leadership roles in their communities, in order for them to become agents of change. The Multicultural Center-Rock Creek through advising, diversity training, and assessment seeks to foster a culture that empowers and engages students of color to ultimately thrive at PCC and within their communities.
