April 22, 2022 marks the 52nd anniversary of the first Earth Day. The theme of Earth Day 2022 is “Invest in our Planet. What Will You Do?” PCC libraries will join in the Earth Week celebration with a Seed Giveaway event in the Rock Creek library (April 20 from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm) and will have displays about pollinators at all campus libraries. The Rock Creek library seed giveaway is open to all students, staff and community members. You can bring seeds to exchange or just come and take what you need from multiple types of seeds. Miriam Latzer, Rock Creek Learning Garden Coordinator, will be on hand to answer questions. Library books about gardening will be available for checkout. PCC will celebrate Earth Week from April 18-23, 2022. Activities include films, raffles, sustainability challenges, and much more. See this year’s full list of events.
