Activation of new Career Technical Education (CTE) and Lower Division Transfer (LDC) are similar.  Following the internal and external (state) review and approval process:

  • Curriculum Office enters the course into Banner
  • Curriculum Office publishes CCOG online
  • Curriculum Office facilitates new courses appearing in the next catalog

The SAC will be notified when the course has completed the entire process.  At that point, the SAC may then activate, schedule and advertise the courses. To activate course and designate location in online schedule, campus-based SACs need to contact their department admin support, while district SACs need to contact Leslie Hackett.

The approval process for new courses is approximately six months if no delays are encountered. For more details see the implementation timeline.
