CALL Spr22 Week 1

1. Get to Know MyPCC

• Log in to MyPCC.  If it is your first time, here is a video tutorial.
•  Follow the instructions on the handout Tara gave you.  It will help you find information on MyPCC.

2. Find the Audio for the Textbook and Workbook

1. In the gray box on the side of this page, you will see “Instructions for Getting Audio for Textbook.”  Click on that box.
2. Click on the link “English in Action 3 Student Book and Workbook Audio.”
3. Click on the picture of our textbook.
4. Then choose “Student Book” from the drop down menu.
5. Select “Unit 1”
6. Select Recording #9 (EIA_3e_SB3_02.mp3) 
7. Listen and answer the questions on the handout Tara gave you.

3.  Quizlet

• Quizlet is a very useful tool for practicing vocabulary and spelling.   Today you will use it to practice the spelling rules of the simple present tense. Click on this link =>  Quizlet: 3rd Person Singular ‘S’ Endings   Then choose “Write.”
