2. Pronunciation of Regular Past Tense -ed Endings
- Watch this video about the three ways to pronounce -ed endings. Write the past tense verbs in the correct column on the handout from Tara.

- All of the sentences have past tense verbs. Some of them have superlative adjectives. (Remember to use “the” before superlative adjectives).

- used to + verb
- would + verb
- These are both ways to say you did things regularly in the past, but you don’t do them anymore.
- ex. I used to play on the volleyball team in high school. (I don’t play on a volleyball team now.)
- ex. My grandma would watch us after school. (She often watched us. She doesn’t watch us now).
