About Me
I am the Online Program Manager for Online Learning. My primary responsibilities are manage the course development workflow, the instructional design team, and ensure the quality and accessibility of our online courses. I also co-chair both the Accessible Digital Environments Committee (ADEC) at PCC and the Accessibility Work Group for the Oregon Community College Distance Learning Association (OCCDLA).
My educational background is quite broad. I have an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from a liberal arts college with minors in Business Management and Environmental Science. I have Masters degrees in both Economics and Environmental Science & Management. In addition, I have three graduate certificates: Management in Science & Technology, Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, and Sustainability.
I have been teaching in higher education since 2011. As part-time faculty, I regularly teach a variety of economics courses, but have also taught Business Communication and Statistics courses. My Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics courses both use open educational resources (OER) and my Microeconomics course has been nationally recognized by Quality Matters.

- Online Development Facilitator focusing on Accessibility in Online Learning: Review online courses for web accessibility, provided accessibility training, and tested technological tools for adoption.
- Instructional Technology Specialist at the Rock Creek Campus: Trained faculty on a variety of instructional technologies, like D2L Brightspace.
- Online Faculty Mentor for Online Learning: Provided instructional design guidance for faculty developing new online courses and reviewed finished courses using the QM Rubric.
