This week we will continue learning about the beautiful state of Oregon.
The 3rd of the Seven Wonders of Oregon: the Oregon Coast
- Read about the Oregon Coast
- Answer the comprehension questions.
- Email Margi & your classmates your answer to the Writing Question. The question is at the end of the reading: Imagine that you are going to the Oregon Coast next weekend [because Covid-19 Stay at Home Order is over]. Write 3 or 4 sentences. What do people do at the coast? What do you need to take with you? (Your answer to this question is graded homework)
- Watch this video about “The People’s Coast”
- Choose one of the 75 state parks on the Oregon Coast you would most like to visit
- Write a weekend itinerary. What would you do for a weekend at that park on the Oregon Coast?
- Write a packing list for that trip. What would you pack?
- You will share this information in our class padlet.

- Please ask a classmate or two a question about what they wrote.
- Answer the questions your classmates ask you.
- Next week, we will practice recording our answers with video on your phone or computer. You can practice this week if you want!
- For each column in Padlet, you will need to start a new comment to answer the questions. Remember to write your name. You will need to add pictures. Look at our class website from Week 2 with instructions for how to add photos.
