This week we will continue learning about the beautiful state of Oregon and the fun city of Portland.
The 2nd of the Seven Wonders of Oregon: Crater Lake
- 1. Rewatch this Video about the Seven Wonders of Oregon
- 2. Read about Crater Lake.
- 3. Answer the comprehension questions.
- 4. Email Margi your answer to the Writing Question. The question is at the end of the reading: Did you visit a lake or mountain? Write 3 or 4 sentences. Talk about what people did there. (Your answer to this question is graded homework)
Portland People and Places:
- 5. Read about Portland and answer the comprehension questions, A Strange Hobby
- 6. Call Margi and leave a voicemail. In the voicemail, say one thing you thought was interesting from the reading. Also answer this question, What are your hobbies? Say what you like to do. (Your voicemail is graded homework)
Share with our class about where you are from:
- 7. Visit our Class Padlet to write about Crater Lakes and your hobbies. We are all excited to learn more about you!
- 8. Please ask a classmate or two a question about what they wrote.
- 9. Answer the questions your classmates ask you.
- For each column in Padlet, you will need to start a new comment to answer the questions. Remember to write your name. You will need to add pictures. Look at our class website from Week 2 with instructions for how to add photos.
