Week Ten and Finals Week: June 1 – June 9
Hello students,
Welcome to the final week of spring term! This week we will learn about the 7th and final wonder of the beautiful state of Oregon. You need to post your answers on our class Padlet by Sunday, June 7th. You must post questions and answers to your classmates by Tuesday, June 9th. This week will also be our final assignment. You have until Tuesday, June 9th to finish the work.
The 7th of the Seven Wonders of Oregon: The Wallowas
- Read about The Wallowas
- Answer the comprehension questions.
- Email Margi & your classmates your answer to the Writing Question. The question is at the end of the reading: Land is important to many people. Write 3 or 4 sentences. Say why land is an important part of our lives. (Your answer to this question is graded homework)
- Respond to each of your classmate’s Emails with two questions about what they wrote (use Reply All)
- Answer each of your classmates’ questions

- Note: the videos have graphic language. You do not have to watch them. You do have to read the article.
- Answer the comprehension questions.
- Email a picture or screenshot of your scores, like this one:
- You will share about the article on our class Padlet.
- Extra Reading: Lev2 People around the US and world protest police violence against black people

- Visit our Class Padlet to write about The Wallowas and your final thoughts. We are all excited to see what you share!
- Please ask a classmate or two a question about what they wrote.
- Answer the questions your classmates ask you.
- This week, we will practice recording our answers with video on your phone or computer!
- Your answers and participation on the Padlet are graded homework.
- For each column in Padlet, you will need to start a new comment to answer the questions. Remember to write your name. You will need to add pictures. Look at our class website from Week 2 with instructions for how to add photos.
