Log in to your interlibrary loan account Interlibrary loan (ILL) enables Portland Community College (PCC) students, faculty, and staff to obtain materials that are not available through PCC Library or Summit. The owning library determines whether a particular item can be provided. Regional agreements regulating ILL and federal copyright law also place limitations on the types of materials that may be borrowed, as well as the number of articles that can be requested from journals. Articles will be delivered as PDFs via PCC email. Textbooks are not available via ILL. First time user registration for interlibrary loan PCC faculty, staff, and current students can access the interlibrary loan (ILL) system with their PCC Common Login credentials. When logging in for the first time, users will be prompted to fill out a registration form. Registration has four purposes: Entering personal information and preferences into the interlibrary loan system streamlines the process in the future by not requiring users to supply the same information again for other requests. Having a PCC email on file with ILL enables ILL staff to notify users promptly about the status of ILL requests and deliver materials accurately when requests arrive in the library. Using a MyPCC username and password will ensure secure access to information about ILL requests. Users will also be able to review the list of items that have been requested in the past. Selecting a “Delivery Location” will indicate where ILL items should be sent for pick up. Interlibrary loan FAQ Please consider reading the interlibrary loan (ILL) FAQ. It provides information about frequently asked questions that users have about the ILL system.
