Class information
Admission to the Honors Program
Honors courses are open to all PCC students having a minimum GPA of 3.25 whether or not they are admitted to the program, although membership in the Honors Program has significant benefits. The minimum GPA for full participation in the program is 3.5.
A student may apply for membership in the program by submitting an application.
The application process includes:
- the application
- two letters of recommendation
- a letter of intent
- and an interview with the Honors Council
Students interested in the program who do not fully meet the requirements are invited to contact us to discuss alternative application options, including portfolios and provisional membership.
Students admitted to the program should plan to take HON 101 within the first two terms of membership.
