What will you learn?
You’ll learn to protect and handle patient data of all kinds, including diagnoses, symptoms, test results, medical histories, and procedures. Coursework focuses on modern best-practices in an industry of constantly evolving regulations and technologies. Our programs provide you with the fundamental skills needed to become certified and begin a career health information.
What will you do?
As a health information professional, you’ll use your skills in information technology and records management to inform providers and improve the quality of patient care. Health information professionals work almost exclusively with data. These positions usually don’t work directly with patients, instead you’ll be working with physicians, nurses, and administrators.
