Art Beat 2009 was a great success! We had record attendance, with wonderful crowds at all three campuses and Southeast Center. Over eighty events, from dance to poetry, ceramics to DIY, took place this year. Featured Artist Bryan Johanson’s world premiere of his composition Fore!, played by the Oregon Guitar Quartet, stunned those fortunate enough to hear it—and now you can hear it, too. You can also see pictures and videos of other events posted on this site.
Art Beat happens every spring, thanks to the hard work and dedication of many, many people—administration, faculty, ASPCC and plant services, to name a few—but it wouldn't be the joyful celebration it is without all of those who attend the events. If you joined us this year, Thank You, and we hope to see you next year.
If you weren't able to come, look around this site to see what you missed, and mark your calendar for next year: May 10-14, 2010.
As always, all events will be free and open to everyone.
