1. Present Continuous Tense
Review the present continuous tense. Present continuous is also called present progressive.
- Watch the short video about the difference about simple present and present continuous.
- Read the sentence and write the correct verb tense. Is it simple present or present continuous? Click on this link for practice.
- Listen to the recording. It is about how technology is changing how people live. Answer the questions on Part C and Part D on pages 74-75 in your textbook.
2. Choices
- Do some dictation practice with past tense verbs (#86-95). Here are the answers.
- Practice the past tense verbs for next week’s quiz. Be sure to listen to the pronunciation and example sentences.
- Work on your reading fluency. Read the story about Thanksgiving.
- Listen to a song and type the missing words on lyricstraining.com
- Cat’s in the Cradle (This is the song we listened to on Monday)
- Summer of 69 by Bryan Adams (this is a little faster)
