CALL Week 10
1. Reading Fluency
- Read and listen to the article, “TV Parental Guidelines.” It is about the ratings for TV programs so parents know if they are ok for children. Read the story out loud with the recordings 3 times. Then try to answer the comprehension questions.
2. Future Tense
- Practice making sentences with the future BE going to X.
3. Dictation
- Here are the dictation sentences for Week 10. Listen and write what you hear in your notebook. The sentences use future tense. Listen carefully for “will,” “won’t,” or the BE verb + going to
- Here are the answers. Check your spelling!
4. Choice
- More grammar practice with the future: Activity 1: Finish the sentence / Activity 2: Choose “will” or BE going to.

- This video is good for pronouncing contractions for will (ex. I’ll, she’ll, it’ll, won’t)
