In My Home: Personal Narratives About Housing in the Community
Students, staff, faculty, and larger PCC community are invited to share their personal stories about housing in the community. Narratives about housing insecurity or affordability, experiences with poverty, and eviction will be recorded and shared to raise awareness and to help generate possible solutions.

Recording will take place on a drop-in basis from 11:00 a.m. –3:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Southeast Campus | February 1, 2 (Library, 1st floor)
  • Rock Creek Campus | February 7, 8 (Building 9, Library, 2nd floor)
  • Cascade Campus | February 15,16 (Library, 1st floor)
  • Sylvania Campus | February 21, 22 (Library, 1st floor)

From the Rooftop: Thoughts About Housing in the Community
Have ideas or opinions about housing in the community?  Share them with us at our community sound-off.   All are invited to respond to prompts and questions that will be posted throughout the month of February.  Responses may be used at the panel discussion hosted by PCC on March 1, 2017.

Drop in at any time between 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. to share your thoughts in-person on the following dates:

Place to Call Home : Personal Narratives and Possible Solutions for Housing in the Community
Join a panel of elected officials, local housing advocacy organizations, and student community members to discuss possible solutions for secure and affordable housing in the Portland area. The discussion will be based on shared the personal narratives and ideas gathered from the community, including students and the general public, during the month of February. The panel discussion will be moderated by Chabre Vickers, Portland Human Rights Commission Chair.
