Planting Seeds for the Future through Planned Giving

Carolyn Moore
Thank you, Carolyn.

Carolyn Moore was a poet, an activist, and a Portlander. Supporting future generations of writers was important to her. When she passed, Portland Community College became a recipient of her estate. The Carolyn Moore Writers Residency is the first of its kind to be hosted by a community college in the United States and will provide PCC students with creative opportunities for generations to come.

Like Carolyn, many are thinking about how to leave a legacy that reflects what has been important to them during their lives. People like you are thinking about the future – for themselves, their loved ones, and the causes they value.

A gift to PCC in your will is a way to make a long-lasting impact for students in the future and to support something that has been meaningful in your life. We want you to know how much that support matters today and every day.

We are here to help.

Making plans for the future can be intimidating. But, it is an important step in taking care of the people and causes you care about. Our staff has tools and resources to help you, no matter where you are in the process.
