About the Gala
The PCC Foundation’s An Evening for Opportunity is the premier fundraising event for Oregon’s largest institution of higher education. Since its inception in 2012, An Evening for Opportunity has raised more than $2.8 million to help Portland Community College students achieve their dreams of entering our region’s workforce with a family-wage job and becoming contributors to a vibrant community.
Why support the Gala?
PCC is an economic engine for the state and a pathway to a better future for the nearly 73,000 students we serve. We provide Oregon businesses with a competitive advantage by offering a diverse, trained and skilled workforce. PCC plays a critical role in strengthening our region through the development of productive people and innovative ideas. Together, we are creating a stronger community while supporting our hard-working and talented students.
Your support at PCC’s An Evening for Opportunity Gala makes a difference. By helping create scholarships and strengthening academic support programs at PCC, you are giving students the tools they need to succeed.
