What We Do

 Friends of Seasonal and Service Workers is an all-volunteer association, acting in a support capacity to aid membership associations of low-income worker organizations in the states of Oregon, Washington, California and Alaska. FSSW volunteers mobilize and deliver food, clothing and other resources for the self-help benefit programs of these organizations that make it possible for low-paid workers to fight for permanent solutions to poverty.

Opportunities for service with us

 Leading outreach to workers living on farm labor camps and low-income neighborhoods, build the means for pro bono legal recourse, fight policies that harm low-paid farm and seasonal workers, learn labor history, grassroots organizing methods.  On-the-job training is provided in all basic organzing skills.
