Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
Promoting Leadership, Scholarship, Fellowship and Service Worldwide
Students who make the grade at PCC can take advantage of leadership opportunities and access scholarships by joining Phi Theta Kappa, the largest honor society in the world. PCC's chapter of PTK has been selected as the Most Distinguished Chapter in the Oregon Region for three consecutive years, and was listed among the top 20 chapters in the nation for leadership.
To join PTK, you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours toward a degree program. After joining, you must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in at least three credit hours at PCC. Members pay a $80 fee for a lifetime membership. With its own job search bank, the national PTK organization has millions of dollars in scholarships available to deserving students. Contact your local campus student government office for a PTK application.
By joining, you will get a notation on your transcript, qualify for over $36 million in scholarships at 4-year colleges and universities, be able to become an active member and learn valuable organizational and leadership skills.
