Last Community Education class I took:
Yoga
My last good read:
The Thin Place, by Kathryn Davis
My favorite quote:
“Our heads are round so thought can change direction.” ~ Allen Ginsberg

All of our instructors are working artists, steeped in their craft and terribly familiar with the joys and challenges of exploring and creating in their mediums. They teach in order to invite others into the worlds of their art forms.

I am happy to introduce you to the new instructors highlighted in these pages: Stephanie Adams-Santos, A.M. O'Malley, Ben Popp and Anne Sorce. We have two more, who will be highlighted in the next catalog: John Isaacson (Visual-Verbal: A Graphic Novel Workshop) and Gretchen Amman (Bluegrass Banjo for Complete Beginners - 5 Strings of Fun).

Some of our long-time instructors are busting out into fresh directions in their fields as well. Look for new classes on photographing construction sites, creative thinking through watercolor painting, banjo-playing and image/emulsion transfers with a Polaroid-type film. Your old favorites are here, too, because sometimes you just want to study with the same instructor and go deeper into your own craft.

For the teenagers in your life, check out our Summer Teen Program, with immersive classes in everything from Zombie Apocalypse Survival to Poetry to Golf to Fashion Sketching.

Let me know how your classes go!
