IMPORTANT – Buy what you can afford; the most important are the 3 primary watercolor tubes, paper, and brushes. In our first meeting, we will take a detailed look at each material, ensuring you understand how to use them for watercolor media.
NOTE: $15.00 of your material fee goes to pay for the classroom space and to support the Friendly House. The other $8.00 is for class materials and teacher’s demos.

- Strathmore 400 Series Mixed Media Pad – 9″ x 12″, 15 Sheets
- If you prefer you can buy a Cold Press watercolor single sheet, 140 lb (300 gsm) and divide it in four. Blick Materials have them at $4.69. I would recommend these for more advance classes and compositions.

PALETTES , there are many options, the ideal one is the one that you can cover to transport and have a generous space to mix your colors.

Piece of thick cardboard, or drawing wood board, to tape your watercolor paper, do not buy expensive drawing clipboard. At ACE Or Home depot you can buy a cheaper a “9 by 12”. This is optional
