Today we reviewed prepositions of place and places in a community. We talked about homes and neighborhoods.

Homework

  1. English in Action 2 Unit 3: Home:  Review pages 56. Here is the link to listen. You can slow down the audio and repeat after the speaker. Learn the new vocabulary (meaning, pronunciation, spelling).

  2. English in Action 2 Unit 3 Workbook packet: NEW: page 22 (two verbs – “can” + verb). OLD: pp. 20-21; 23 & 24.

  3. Read the neighborhood paragraph homework. Start writing your paragraph and bring it to class on Friday.

  4. Start extra practice  #3 Finish extra #2 (practice each skill – you choose how) and then fill out the chart (or you can call me or e-mail me). Due Monday. (Heather will give you the papers on Friday.)
