Happy Friday!

Today we reviewed talking about clock time and what time we do things. Here are the slides. We also reviewed classroom vocabulary and school vocabulary, p. 24 with “there is/there are”. We practiced listening on pages 26-27 and talking about questions and answers. We also read A on page 29.

There is a Unit 1 Test on Monday. Please come to class and please study!

  1. Matching with classroom and school vocabulary (words and pictures)

  2. Matching with clock time

  3. Writing a or an before a noun

  4. Writing there is and there are (affirmative and negative)

  5. Writing plurals

  6. Listening and answering comprehension questions (multiple choice)

We will have time to review on Monday before the test.
 
Other homework for Monday

  1. English in Action 2 Unit 1 My School: Review pages 24, 26, 27 and 29. Here is the link to listen. You can slow down the audio and repeat after the speaker. Review the vocabulary on (meaning, pronunciation, spelling).

  2. Finish your English in Action 2 Unit 1 Workbook packet. Here is the link to listen. This packet is really good preparation for the test.

  3. Finish your Self-Evaluation. It is due next Monday.

  4. Finish Extra Practice 3 for next Monday. You choose how to practice each skill and then write it down. Here is the chart.

  5. Finish late homework and corrections.
