We reviewed the family, third person singular verbs + s (He works…), took a quiz and did Karaoke Friday with Shania Twain’s She’s Not Just a Pretty Face.
Homework for Monday
1. Study for the Unit 2 test. On Monday, October 27th we have the Unit 2 test: family, jobs and occupations; possessive adjectives, possessive nouns, simple present; listening, reading, writing.
2. Review English in Action 2 Unit 2: Family. Here is the link to listen. You can slow down the audio and repeat after the speaker. Learn the new vocabulary (meaning, pronunciation, spelling).
3. Write 5 (or more) sentences about your family on paper or send me an e-mail. What are their names? What are their relationships to you (wife/husband, daughter/son, mother/father, etc.)? Where do they live? What do they do? Where do they work? See the slides from today for my example answers.
4. Do Voicemail 2 about your family. Write your information on the paper, practice reading it and then call me and leave me a message. Read the paper. Due Monday,
5. Start self-evaluation. Due Friday.
No class on Wednesday, October 29th. It is a PCC meeting day.
