Here are the slides from today.
We practiced vowels with The Color Vowel Chart and reviewed the jobs and occupations vocabulary on page 38. We did C and D on page 39.
We also talked about the simple present and did A on page 40. We use simple present to talk about what we do every day or regularly, like get up or go to work. The most important part of this grammar is to put an “s” on the end of the verb when we write or talk about one person: He works.
We will talk more about our families and the simple present on Wednesday. We will also go to the computer lab.
Here is the homework:
1. EIA 2: Review pages 38-40.
2. EIA 2 Workbook Packet: Listen and write I, J, and K on pages 18-19. You will finish your packet for Friday. Here is the link to listen. Select Level 2, Workbook, Unit 2 and then the audio number.
3. Write about your family on a new paper. See F, page 37. You will talk about your family in a small group on Wednesday. You can show a picture of your family on your phone.
4. Correct your Family quiz. Here is the key so you know what the errors are.
5. Work on Extra Practice #3. The chart (or you can call me or e-mail me) is due Friday.
