Hello students,

We met one of our classroom volunteers, Aida, yesterday.  Welcome, Aida!
We also went to the computer lab to take the very difficult test CASAS.  This is a test that all PCC ESOL Levels 1-3 students must take.  The state of Oregon gives us money for our program because of this test.  Don’t worry about your score too much.  Also, you will take this test again at the end of the term, so you will have a chance to see if you have improved.
Here are the slides from Wednesday:  Level 2 Wednesday, April 10.  Remember, you need to download the Google Slides app if you want to open the slides on your phone.
Homework due Friday, April 12

1.  Study for Quiz 1 on the alphabet.  The quiz will have dictation, syllables, and names of letters. We will take a practice quiz before we take the real quiz.

2.  Complete pages 2, 3, 4, and 5 in the textbook.  Write Exercises D, G, B, A, and B on a piece of paper to give Davida in class.  Use the audio to listen. If the audio is not working on your phone, try a different browser (Google Chrome) or try on your computer.
