We had a busy day today with a lot of work on the Welcome Unit in the textbook and the packet.  We also took a practice quiz and real quiz on the alphabet, capital and lowercase letters, syllables, syllable stress, vowels, consonants, listening, reading, and writing.  It had everything! 

We also welcomed three new students to our class:  Min, Luana, and Ismael!  Welcome!

We went to the Tutoring Center in the library for just a few minutes, but we will go back again next week.  You can go to the Tutoring Center 5 days a week to have extra practice.

Use the audio to listen to Exercise C on page 7.  Select “Student Book.”

2.  Complete Exercise C, Exercise D, and Exercise E on pages 3 and 4 of the packet.  You will show Davida your work in class.  Davida will collect the completed packets on Wednesday, April 17.  The Welcome Unit Test will be on Friday, April 19.

4.  Complete the “Using Capital Letters” and “Number Names” handouts.  Davida will collect these papers.  “Days, Months, and Numbers” is for you to study, but there is nothing to write.
