Portland Community College alums come from a variety of backgrounds, bring diverse skills and interests, and go on to do remarkable things. We are proud to have helped them get their start, humbled by what they have accomplished and thrilled to honor their contributions.

This year we will be honoring five PCC alumni with the Diamond Alum Awards. PCC's Diamond logo has long symbolized the college ideals of opportunity and the transformative power of education. We are looking for alumni who exemplify what it means to be a "PCC Diamond" through their leadership, achievement and service to community.

Who's Eligible?

More than 1.3 million individuals have attended PCC since it opened its doors in 1961, so chances are that you know a PCC alum!

Anyone who has taken a credit or non-credit class, earned a degree, gained new skills, or transferred their PCC credits toward a university bachelor's degree – and as a result of their PCC experience been inspired to accomplish great things – is eligible.

If you know an impressive PCC alum, please fill out the nomination form below and tell us why they deserve to be one of our Diamond Alumni Award recipients. The deadline for entries is midnight, March 17, 2013.

The Diamond Alumni will be selected in late March by a judging panel of faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. Award recipients will be recognized at an event during PCC's Founders' Week in May, in local media outlets, and on the PCC website.
