An evening for Opportunity 2014 - British Invasion

2014 PCC Foundation Gala

2014 An Evening for Opportunity
British Invasion: A Mod Gala
was a smashing success!

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of our friends and supporters—All Together Now—we raised $300,000 to create life-changing opportunities for PCC students.

Five hundred friends joined us to Twist & Shout for student success! Highlights include...

  • The Portland Marriott transformed into Swinging London, circa 1964, as guests arrived at our faux Underground station aptly named "Opportunity Station.”
  • An inspiring program with Future Connect student Manny Romero, student performers, and Dr. Jeremy Brown, PCC President.
  • Getting a Ticket to Ride in the Mini-Cooper photo booth. See the glamorous shots and order prints.
  • The Nowhere Men, channeling the magic of Beatlemania.
  • A tribute to Patron Award Honorees, Ross Lienhart and Sheila Edwards-Lienhart.
  • Margaret Carter breaking out in song to raise our hearts and paddles.

Check out fab photos of the event!

If you couldn’t join us for the Gala, there’s still a way to Help! Make a donation.

Your generosity creates opportunity for students. Here's the story of three PCC students whose lives were changed when they received scholarships from the PCC Foundation:
