Using Blackboard
Online Learning at a Glance
PCC uses a course management tool called Blackboard to manage the web courses. Blackboard provides a standard means of creating courses and enables a similar look from course to course with a secure environment for students.
Blackboard also has a variety of learning tools that create a virtual classroom where students and teachers can communicate with one another. As with a campus class, you will have assignment due dates and if your class has online exams, exams may have due dates as well. Students and Instructors will typically interact with each other via email and bulletin board discussions.
