Synchronous Remote Learning – What to expect
Joining a class
We will be using virtual classroom for our teaching time slot.
Login to your MyPCC account and go to Design2LearnBrightspace > MTH Class>Online rooms > Zoom Meeting (click join button)
You will have a better experience using computer vs cell phone.
In-Class Activities
I start the class by taking attendance and greetings. First 20-30 minutes is dedicated for going over homework problems.
Rest of the class time is spent on lecture/working on problems related to the concepts.
Before every test we will go over a review package which we do as a group work. This review gives you an idea of how the test looks like. Generally we have four tests including a Final.
No pop-quizzes. All will be given in the schedule.
Submitting Assignments
Students can upload PDFs of their homework and worksheets.
Free apps like Camscanner (on Android) and NOTES ( built-in on iPhone) can save pics of your assignments as PDFs.
