Here are the slides from today.
We practiced vowel sounds in our names with the Color Vowel Chart.
We reviewed the be verb in the affirmative (positive), negative, contractions and as a yes/no question.
We also did page 12, practiced wh-questions and talked about class rules.
Homework for Friday
1. Finish late homework.
2. Do Voicemail #1 before class on Friday. Call me and read your paper after the beep. On Friday, put your voicemail paper in the box.
3. Finish extra practice #1 (practice each skill – you choose how) and then fill out the chart (OR you can call me or e-mail me).
4. Study for the Welcome Unit Test on Monday: listening, reading, be-verb (sentences, negative, contractions, questions). Yes/no questions, wh-questions and answers. Writing: capitalization, spelling, punctuation, word order.)
