Happy Friday!
Today we reviewed the Welcome Unit with a crossword puzzle. We did page 11 and talked about sentences (statements), yes/no questions and wh-questions. We read A on page 13. We also shared about famous people in groups and some brave students shared about their famous person in front of the class.
Here is the homework for Monday:

  1. Study for the English in Action 2 Welcome Unit Test: Listening, reading, be-verb (sentences, negative, contractions, questions). Yes/no questions, wh-questions and answers. Writing: capitalization, spelling, punctuation, word order.)

  2. Finish any late work:

    1. Questionnaire & Practice the Alphabet

    2. Correct your Alphabet quiz. Do not erase. Write new words/sentences.

    3. English in Action 2 Workbook Welcome Unit packet

    4. Finish extra practice #1

    5. Write 5 sentences about a famous person. Use the example from C, page 9.

    6. Send me an e-mail from your PCC e-mail. Use the form on B, p. 13.

  3. Preview Unit 3: The Home. Read the vocabulary and look at the pictures.
